Notebook laptop computers have become the smallest, and most portable laptops on the market. They are incredibly small and function with a fairly high speed. Notebook memory is usually up to high standard but it can be increased according to your computer needs.

Notebook laptops are different to PC’s and are easier to upgrade the memory. The memory upgrade doesn’t involve taking the entire laptop apart, rather, you can add memory buy getting easy access to the memory compartment.

To find the memory slots to upgrade your notebook computer, all you need to do is turn the laptop over. Once the computer is switched off and you find the memory panel then you just need to use a screwdriver to open it up and view the existing memory.

You can replace the memory strips and lock them in with small clips on the ends. Just remove the old ones and replace it with the new. Once you have updated the notebook memory, just put the panel back in place and power up your notebook. Ensure that the notebook automatically registers the memory upgrade and allows you to store more data. It should tell you how much data it can now store and advice you how much memory you have used.
